Special Education
Kartikay Educational and Welfare SocietyEducation is a right, not a privilege. At AAKAAR, our Special Education programme is designed for children with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, and Multiple Disabilities — ensuring that no child is left behind simply because the system was not built for them.
Our Special Educators work with each child through an Individualised Educational Plan (IEP) — a personalised roadmap that sets realistic, measurable learning goals aligned with the child’s unique strengths, pace, and learning style. From pre-academic readiness to functional literacy and numeracy, every lesson is purposefully crafted to build independence and confidence.
What We Offer:
- Individualised Education Plans (IEP) developed in consultation with parents and therapists
- Structured Teaching using evidence-based methodologies including ABA, TEACCH, and Montessori adaptations
- Communication skill-building for verbal and non-verbal learners
- Functional academics — reading, writing, numeracy, and life skills
- Inclusive education support and school-readiness preparation
- Regular progress monitoring with parental feedback sessions
Who Benefits: Children aged 3–18 years with Intellectual Disability, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, and Multiple Disabilities.
